You were nobody 'til somebody bought you lunch at the Carnegie Deli. Founded in 1937 and located just offstage from Manhattan’s theater district, it became THE iconic spot for entertainers, celebrities, and comics to eat sandwiches the size of their heads. We are known for our gargantuan sandwiches, smoked and cured meats, potato knishes, and our creamy cheesecake. The Carnegie Deli brings an authentic New York deli experience to deli lovers from all over the world.
Milton Parker, or as he is lovingly known, The CPM–The Corned Beef and Pastrami Maven, turned Carnegie Deli into an icon for many of the City's most famous entertainers from Robin Williams, Mel Brooks and Stevie Wonder early on to celebrities like Stephen Spielberg, Alec Baldwin and Conan O'Brien decades later. Carnegie Deli has been featured in every media outlet imaginable over its 80-year history, including TV shows, magazines, newspapers and Adam Sandler's "Chanukah Song."
Today, the Carnegie Deli brand is owned by Parker’s daughter, Marian Harper, and Parker's granddaughter, Sarri Harper, who uphold the same standards that earned Carnegie its iconic name. Our mission is to provide you with the ultimate New York deli experience.
Carnegie Deli products are available for franchised locations, wholesale purchase and licensed use on qualified restaurant menus.
